Welcome to the 13th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC) 2024, hosted by the Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS) with the collaboration of the Asian Aerosol Research Assembly (AARA). It is an honour to bring together scientists, researchers, industrial players and policy-makers to join this gathering, where we will discuss intriguing topics related to aerosol science, technology, measurements and impacts.
MyCAS is a professional non-governmental organisation designated to address air quality issues at the global and national levels, and its mandate is to lead the national mission for better air quality. We are committed to strengthening capacity building by actively engaging experts with stakeholders in all air quality-related activities.
The AARA was officially established in 1999, the same year in which the AAC was organised for the first time in Nagoya, Japan. AARA is established to promote the progress of aerosol science in all Asian countries by hosting biennial high-quality AAC that focuses on fundamental research and applications of aerosol science and technology.
The 13th AAC 2024 received strong support and cooperation from numerous stakeholders including Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak), government agencies, academic institutions and our strategic partners. This conference aims to provide a field for sharing knowledge and exchanging expertise, presenting the latest research findings and the proliferation of ideas on aerosol studies.
As we come together from diverse backgrounds and expertise, let us seize this remarkable opportunity to exchange insights, forge new connections, and collectively contribute to the advancement of knowledge in our field. With gratitude for your presence and a shared dedication to pushing the boundaries of possibility, let us commence this enlightening chapter of discovery at the 13th AAC 2024.
