AAC 2024 Travel Grant

We are delighted to announce that the AAC 2024 Organizing Committee will be providing travel grants to presenters whose abstracts have been accepted. These grants are specifically intended for Postgraduate students (Master or PhD) under 36 years old (aged 36 and below as of 7th November, 2024), or young professionals with fewer than five years of master's or PhD degree completion from developing countries.

Travel Grant Awards provide partial support for delegates with financial need to travel to and participate in the AAC 2024.

Priority will be placed on attendees currently residing in developing countries.

Countries classified as developing countries for this purpose are those whose economies are listed by the World Bank as “Low income”, “Lower Middle Income”, or “Upper Middle Income”.

To qualify, candidates must be the first author on at least one submitted abstract, and complete the official Travel Grant application incorporated into the abstract submission process.

The award can be used to cover the following expenses:

a. Conference registration fees.

b. Reasonable Economy-class airfare to/from conference host country.

The calendar for AAC 2024 Travel Awards is as follows:

Application Period: 25th May 2024 – 31st July 2024
Review of Applications: 1st August 2024 – 31st August 2024
Announcement of Awardees: Mid August, 2024

Please do not apply for a Travel Grant unless you are prepared to travel to the AAC 2024 to present your research.

Once your abstract submission is confirmed, you will  be eligible to apply for an AAC 2024 Travel Grant.

Only one (1) Travel Grant application per candidate will be considered for the  AAC 2024.

If an individual submits multiple Travel Grant applications, only the abstract receiving the highest cumulative score will be reviewed by the Awards Committee.
