Dear Colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the organizing committee, It is my great honor and privilege to welcome each of you to the 13th Asian Aerosol Conference 2024. 

Serving as co-chair and head of the scientific committee for an event that gathers some of the brightest minds in aerosol science and technology is both humbling and exhilarating. This year’s theme, “Synergizing Aerosol Science, Technology, Policy, and Practice towards Sustainable Solutions,” underscores our commitment to a holistic, multidisciplinary approach. It emphasizes the importance of integrating science, technology, and policy to craft solutions that are not only innovative but also practical and impactful.

Over the next few days, we will witness a remarkable convergence of expertise. We have gathered prominent speakers and leaders renowned across the fields of aerosol research, technology, and policy to share their latest innovations and discoveries. Their work not only enhances our understanding of aerosols but also guides us toward sustainable, science-driven solutions that will shape a healthier and more resilient world.

This conference is a testament to the tremendous progress across aerosol science. Thanks to the dedication of our committee, we are delighted to present six plenary speakers, five special symposia, 25 oral sessions, and over 340 presentations from 24 countries. Each of you, through your commitment to advancing aerosol science, plays a vital role in shaping a future where technology, policy, and practice harmonize to address today’s challenges and tomorrow’s aspirations.
